Solid connection

Wooden production boards are made of properly seasoned high-quality pine wood, offered by the leading producer of this material in Poland. Each batch of wood has a quality certificate and is additionally checked for humidity.

The individual planks of wood are connected by tongue and groove method. To ensure high durability of the boards, they are additionally twisted with bars of precisely selected hardness and thickness (10mm). The bars pierce the board along its entire length in three places.

Thanks to double method of joining the planks by 1) tongue and groove method and 2) threaded bars, boards gain a compact and durable structure. Vibrations from the concrete block machine are better transferred to the concrete mix, which directly affects the quality of the manufactured products. Better stiffness of the boards is also associated with a smaller deflection arrow.

High durability

A smooth surface is obtained by grinding the boards on both sides. This ensures not only the possibility of using two sides of the  board, but also a perfect flatness. Thanks to this, the adhesion of the mould is correct and there is no damage to the mould matrix, the so-called the “elephant feet” effect.

The edges of the boards are fitted with a metal, galvanized semi-closed profile, then pressed in three places and additionally attached to the wood with wood screws. Profiles protect the sides of the boards against mechanical damage while working on conveyors.

Impregnation

The final stage in the production of wooden technological boards is to cover the surface with a properly selected impregnating liquid, which prevents the concrete products from sticking, reduces water absorption and extends the life span of the boards. A carefully selected mixture is a protective layer allowing for easy use and maintenance of the boards.
